Mental Matters Webinar Series

In an ever-evolving world, where stress and uncertainty shape our daily lives, mental wellness is more than just a goal—it’s a continuous practice. That’s why KRF is proud to present its first Mental Matters Webinar of 2025, an open space dedicated to reflection, learning, and meaningful conversation.

Led by Gadi Purcell, this session delves into the realities of mental health—beyond surface-level self-care—and explores how everyday habits, unseen triggers, and deep-seated resilience can transform the way we navigate life. Mental wellness is not about quick fixes or grand gestures; it’s about the small, intentional choices we make every day—the way we speak to ourselves, the boundaries we set, and the way we nurture both individual and collective healing.

Key Discussion Topics

  • The Power of Daily Habits – How do small, consistent actions shape our mental well-being? What habits, no matter how simple, hold the potential to shift our mindset?

  • Self-Care Beyond Buzzwords – What does self-care truly mean? Is it indulgence, or is it the very structure of how we move through the world?

  • Cultural & Generational Challenges – How do deep-rooted beliefs and societal expectations influence our stress levels? What are the inherited stories we hold onto—and which ones are holding us back?

  • Setting Emotional Boundaries – How do we balance care and self-preservation, especially in relationships with family and close friends? Can boundaries be a bridge rather than a wall?

  • Breaking Mental Health Misconceptions – What outdated beliefs have kept our communities from embracing true healing?

Alongside this insightful webinar, we also present a special interview with Alia Rice, a yoga instructor with extensive experience in movement, mindfulness, and holistic wellness. Together, we explore how yoga serves as a transformative mental health tool, helping us reconnect with our bodies, regulate emotions, and cultivate inner balance.

This session is more than just a discussion—it’s an invitation to practice. To reflect deeply, unlearn what no longer serves us, and step into a more intentional, healing-centered future.
