Kilil Roussaw

Executive Director

Kilil Roussaw, is a Philadelphia born entrepreneur, business owner, and D.C. educator. He began his work with the community early on with his volunteer work in the inner cities of Norfolk and Philadelphia. His objective over the last few years has been to build confidence within individuals. As an African American male, through spreading the message that with hard work and dedication, you can be whatever you want to be. This message is one he feels often times get lost in our youth.

Kilil has continued to sponsor community events, mentor our youth; as well as create programs to help them influence change within themselves and others. He strives to promote a positive lifestyle and he believes that’s something anyone can relate to.

It’s that philosophy that has gotten Kilil to be a successful entrepreneur and educator today. His only goal is to spark change in the world, and he knows by maintaining a positive lifestyle, the possibilities are limitless.

Hafsa Salahuddin

Director of Programs

Hafsa Salahuddin, is an experienced management professional with background in product portfolio management, business strategy and project management. She is a passionate community worker and also volunteers with several non-profits including the World Bank Family Network and Margaret McNamara Education Foundation. Her experience and insights guide us in designing innovative and impactful programs that are true to our mission, values and centered our five pillars.

Hafsa has a Masters Degree in Business Administration from IBA Pakistan and a Graduate Certificate in Public Health from George Washington University.

Dr. Querida Lugo

Director of Strategic Growth & Development

​Dr. Querida Lugo is a dynamic and visionary leader with a passion for driving organizational growth and development in the for/non-profit sectors. With a background in strategic planning, partnership development, and fundraising, Dr. Lugo brings a wealth of experience to her role as Director of Strategic Growth and Development at KRoussaw Foundation.

Throughout her career, Dr. Lugo has demonstrated a strong commitment to creating positive change and empowering communities. She has a proven track record of building strategic partnerships with donors, philanthropic organizations, and community stakeholders to support programmatic initiatives and organizational sustainability.

Prior to joining KRoussaw Foundation, Dr. Lugo held leadership positions in various organizations, where she played a key role in designing and implementing innovative strategies to advance organizational missions and objectives. Her strategic mindset, coupled with her ability to inspire and motivate teams, has contributed to her success in driving impactful outcomes and fostering growth.

Dr. Lugo holds a doctorate in Education and Innovative Leadership from Wilmington University. She is passionate about leveraging her expertise and leadership skills to create lasting change and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and communities around the world.
